However, the shower faucet came off during use, which was unsettling. Even though I received another room, it was disheartening to see the overall condition of the bathrooms, which looked dated. Breakfast options were limited, with only a few pastries available. The dining area felt neglected and could really use an upgrade. The wooden furniture was nice, but the linens showed wear and could be refreshed for a better experience.

The Double Room with Two Double Beds was decent enough for a quick stay. The beds were comfy, which really helped after a long drive. Check-in and check-out were easy, and I liked that the parking was hassle-free. However, the lighting was pretty dim, and the shower could definitely use better cleaning. There were also these tiny soap bars that broke easily. It's a spot to crash, but some things could be improved.

Wi-fi was decent, and free parking was a plus. Air conditioning worked well, but front desk was slow.

I enjoyed my stay at Super 8. The room was surprisingly clean and comfortable, complete with a fridge and microwave, which made my time there even more enjoyable!

It was just an excellent fit for a trip in Christiansburg with good value for cost. They graciously allowed us to cancel our reservation when we couldn't handle the smoke odors in the first room. Make sure to check the room's condition upon arrival before settling in.
